Spark plugs leads are like spark plugs, they do get worn out, you should change the leads when you change every second or third set of plugs.

The standard leads are 5mm, & you can get a custom made 8.5mm for around $120 (set of 3)

Do the custom made 8.5mm leads have any advantages? Is there any performance increase?

Well according to the company who makes them, they do "wonders" for your car, but i only found them a little bit more responsive.

yeah you only need three because they plug into your coil packs on the front three sparkies....

what measurements are you after?

i got 7 or 8 mm leads from magnecor for about 130 or something...cant remember....i didnt notice any real difference....i just wanted to replace mine cos the stock ones werent in very good condition....and they were releasing energy quite a distance away from the leads.... maybe they were insulated enough...dunno

i bought 8mm leads from Magnecor for around $130 and 6 NGK spark plugs for $72.
My recommendation for u is to change both asap.

If u want a mechanic to fit all six for u they'll charge u a fair bit (around $600) I did it myself with the help of a simple tool.

The back plugs r platinum and the front was r just a normal tip. Though u can replace the rear ones with normal tips as well.
