Starter Motor
Hi all, I seem to be having intermittent starting issues and I'm guessing it's the starter motor. I already have a new battery and the alternator is practically brand new. All is charging great according to my DMM.
After a 30 minute trip or something similar I can't start the car after a quick stop, it just makes a horrible very slow starting sound but doesn't fire, it barely cranks. After 10 minutes or so it fires perfectly like nothing was wrong.
I'm guessing starter motor unless someone else knows better than me, any ideas on the cost of a recond unit?

Whilst we are on the topic of alternators... is it possible to get a more powerful one into an FTO?
I'm thinking about putting in a second battery but I'm not sure if the factory alternator will be able to charge both batteries at once.
...I believe this was my first thread hijack... I'm so proud

LED ALL the things.
