Timing Belt Kit
Is the best place to buy a full timing belt kit (including hydraulic tensioner) on Ebay (Dayco) for $319? Or can I get a better price elsewhere?
[edit] just noticed the previous post to mine tonight as also about timing belts. What are the odds....[/edit]

Which kit are you looking at? the 087H, or the one I mentioned in the previous thread?

Has the hydraulic tensioner in it as well supposedly. Its the 292H. Hadnt checked the teeth count. Was going on face value

Is your car a GPX?
Do you still have your receipts for those?
Trouble with their system is that, you are not really sure if you are getting the right stuff, as in for Mivec, or non-mivec.

Dwayne, I've heard some pretty bad stories about non OEM tensioners.
NTN are the suppliers of OEM hydraulic tensioners from what I understand so you're better off buying a kit without it and sourcing an NTN tensioner separately

The mitsfix guy knows his sh*t, and yes I bought a whole kit from him for a mivec. He knows about the tooth difference.

MitsFix have an eBay store called mitsfix, they also run a shop down here under the exact same name where the parts are shipped from.dstocks wrote:So is Mitsfix one of the mobs on Ebay or somewhere else?
