No one seems to know much about them.... basically bob jane struck a deal with them so that they had exclusive rights to selling them...
Therefore bob jane promote them as a very good tyre. IF you ask other tyre companies they either say "dont know much about them" or... they are just used as a selling point.
Having said that they may be good, probably just marked up a lot. Maybe look through wheels magazines for reviews?
i considered them but for the cash settled on well known/reported brand.
well, i really really (accidently) tested out my goodyears today!
driving down toorak rd in melb, i turned to look at a truck that had pulled over, wasnt speeding (about 50pkh?) and when i turned back to the road, the car in front had stopped... I reckon i had about 5 metres to stop.....
there was no way i thought i would in time... but my tyres gripped, smoked, and i stopped no less then about 10cms away from the rear end of a commodore! my face almost pressed against the steering wheel
although it was totally my fault, and i wasnt concentrating on the road, i am glad i spent a bit more on tyres - as if another tyre had of stopped me 50cm later i would have caused a fair amount of damage and been at fault! guess there is 2 lessons..... buy good tyres and concentrate on the road in front!
Yeah i think there was a review on that brand of tyres in one of the issue of Motor mag, from memory it wasn't impressive though.

I haven't had much experience with diferent tyre's but I bought a set of FM901's for my turbo lancer when I had it.
Being FWD turbo, it was difficult enough to launch as it was. When I sold the car I got a set of michelins put on and could notice that it was heaps harder to lauch right away... it would just screech, torque steer and basically bog down.
Moral is I like FM901's and will get a set for the FTO when the current set are worn.
I don't know about over there, but over here the FM901 range has been mostly replaced by the Dunlop Direzza DZ101 (I think there are some sizes in which you can still get FM901s). I've had both on my VR-4, and the DZ101 was just as good...
I currently have GIII's on the front of my FTO, and I find them good but a bit noisy ... or maybe it's just the sound deadening that my car is supposedly missing.
i had never heard of them honestly, but they came brand new with the car, they are 215/45ZR 17" . ive done about 25000 with them and i drive pretty hard, but they seem to have HEAPS of grip still. they are not bad tires, could be better in the wet. although i have noticed that they will begin to squeel way before the threshold is up in the dry.
I'm a sinner, yet forgive me nothing. I'm a heathen, but forever free.
