Speaker installation is done...with free (sort of) Alpine Type S 5x7's. I'm sure no one cares about how they were installed but the point is it can be done if anyone ever wonders.
Just snap the 2 obstructing brackets off from the the front speaker covers, make extending brackets for the back ones and voila.

See I was 99% sure they would fit and they did haha

They fit really well for the front actually.
But in all seriousness, you should see the factory ones hahaha. Mitsubishi ought to pay me for those things. Total antiques! As old as me even..

A freebie, I'm currently too stingy to shell out for the Pioneers with splits but it might happen in future. Just anything to get past the factory speakers for now haha.

Legit tried closing up the port in the sub box out of curiosity...way better free though, tingles all the way through to your fingertips.
Will get pics sometime, also the next strut brace should turn up in a couple of days. Also still need to paint calipers.
