So I've had my FTO since March and I guess some interesting things have happened since, this is probably one of the least hardcore threads you'll see but uh...yeah, here's some pics and such of Pandora.
Don't be too mean, I'm just a teen with little experience lol.
Guess it all goes back to the old Gran Turismo 2 days, always something a bit special about these.
Time was right so first thing was first: searching. I knew I wanted a manual with that all important Mivec kick, but in SA they're rarely listed. Then out of the blue, two came up on Gumtree (mine being one) so I had it checked out and swiped it up pretty quick...

Too quick in fact, because it turned out the 200K major service hadn't been done. Mechanic didn't even notice the worn out timing belt. I'd worked my way up to 218,000 before we figured that one out.
Was kicking myself, but had left enough money in case something were to happen.

Oil looks abit old :/
Are those wheels 17's or 18's ?
Thank you! Silver looks great in its own way, that was the other colour I had to choose from haha.
And I know.. the oil was disgusting, I think the last owner gave up on maintenance in the end, said he needed the car gone because he got into the army..
And 18's.Just thinking...on 225/35's from what I remember

Got it back from Vipfto after he worked his magic! All in all, cost about 500 for parts instead of the 1400 quoted by the punks at Mitsubishi Australia.

Is that the only ignition key you have?
If yes I would suggest getting another copy cut, using the new one and putting the original into storage. You don't want to wear the original key down too much.

And yeah that centre console looks... weird.
Ahh...that could make sense actually..
It almost looks like someone's fibreglassed over the top just to repair it or something, big crack there anyway..
Either that or it's off another car haha.

Ahaha it does hey?
That is actually, I remember being told about keys, that any pre-98 car keys are different to the newer ones and that they're easier to make? What should I do about getting a second key?
And I didn't even think of that so thank you.

Just take your key to a key cutting place, ie; Mister Minit, Locksmith etc Should only cost you $7 > $15
