Do It Yourself. Feeling game try some of the mods outlined in here. Some of these can be peformed by novices others require a substantial amount of knowledge before attempting them
I would be happy for a group buy on these if we have interest or someone closer to Seven Hills NSW could organise it

Yes, that is correct.
I just spoke with meek and the rear lower mount is Hardness HS60 (not HS50 as descibed) the other 3 mounts are HS90. Will this cause a problem?
If we go genuine, all mounts will be HS50 (softer)
They are willing to do a group buy discount too, for 10 or more. I would have to email them so they can work out a quote.
If we want genuine they can do a quote for them too.

We can't get HS90 in the rear lower so should we be looking at HS50 all round then, ie genuine?
or
Would it be benificial to have the harder on the other 3?

Sorry what I mean is if you have 3 hard ones and 1 soft one (lol) that the softer one will get shredded more quickly than if you had all 4 of them soft.
I fix cars.

Are these easy to get pressed out and new ones pressed in? like if I take my old mounts off the car and take them and the new inserts to pretty much any garage will they be able to do this quickly and cheaply? (in theory)
destinationtoby wrote:I ended up just buying all 4 of the genuine ones from amamaya, because this is all too confusing
Did you end up with 2 lower solid ones?
What is the part number for the upper drivers side?
How much did you pay for all four?

Rob Furniss wrote:Anyone know why the front and rear mounts on a facelift 5 speed auto are different and more importantly can I still use these evo bushes in them?
They're not different, just the hollow type.
Only different mount is the transmission mount.
Ha ha.
Right I will get some ordered from Meek then.
Cheers mate.

Bennoz wrote:Ok, so I found a side mount that fits today Turns out its a Ralliart product, the same as an Evo 7-9 top mount. Made from HS90 hardness rubber, its significantly stiff than the old mount.
got my lower mounts today aswell.. not much use considering i cant get the fuking gearbox back in...pretty much givin up thinking of just parting out and buying a different car. or burning it.
