Well, seriously considering getting my new white daily drive vinyl wrapped now. Found a mob in Canberra that are offering a pretty good price. Might take a shot at it. Havent seen anyone go there yet with an FTO, so maybe ill be the first (in the club at least).
I have had the roof wrapped on my starlet for a while now, done with the 3M stuff and looks same as new after a wash, no signs of fading/bubbling/peeling.

? (Sorry, just being a smartass )
Anyway, to actually contribute to this topic...
I think a wrap rather than a respray on your Version R is a good idea, Dwayne. Saves the original paint. On the other hand, more so with the daily, would the vinyl not get shredded up with all the rocks and stuff around your place?
I fix cars.

Better the vinyl than the paint, right? I mean, if it's costing a little over a grand to get a whole car done, then maybe if the bumper gets bad over time you just peel it off and apply a new layer for a couple hundred bucks or less.

Good point. Although it would be annoying to have to reapply every few months/annually.
I guess it depends how strong the vinyl is.

I paid 1k cash in hand while doing the insurance repairs for the dodgy paint job. 1.7k for the whole car properly wrapped is an awesome price in that comparison.
