Fronts are 32mm. Rears I have no clue as I never have changed one. Usually the size of Mitsubishi rear crown nuts are 32mm as well.

I changed it yesterday and it was a 30mm on my facelift GPvR.vipfto wrote:It's 32
The rear bearings were different between facelift and pre-facelift.
Thanks everyone.

Re: Rear Wheel Bearing crown nut size?
This is what the facelift bearing looks like, the abs ring is transferrable and not built in;
The pic says up to 97 but that's what the MR316500 looks like on the back but it has 5 holes for the ABS ring.
This is the one I bought from ebay (zaccsbearings)

I'm just trying to establish why they changed it, was it a purposeful improvement, or change for the sake of change - and can one be made to fit the other (facelift v non.) etc.

Re: Rear Wheel Bearing crown nut size?
The facelift one is backwards compatible with non abs pre facelift you just don't use the abs ring. No idea why they would do that put maybe they revised the abs in the rear for some reason.Bennoz wrote:I'm just trying to establish why they changed it, was it a purposeful improvement, or change for the sake of change - and can one be made to fit the other (facelift v non.) etc.
