Well done Sahin :D
Should we wait and see if anyone else wants to share the cost, more members might want to be part of this ;) maybe 4 members @ $2 each or 8 members @ $1 each

BTW, I intend engraving "Donated by the members of FTO Australia 2012" on a small metal plate and sticking it inside the fuel lid (I am a trained hand engraver, the kind of engraving that gets done on jewellery/watches), I will also take pics of the hand over and instalation.
I asked at my local "Mister Minit" store for a blank red alloy engraving plate today, after telling him what I was doing he donated the plate for free. :D
A big  to Mister Minit

That's not going to be many faces so far

Anyway, received the fuel door from dstocks today :thumright: Thanks again.
Will do the engraving on the weekend, hoping to do my 'random act of kindness' on monday :D

BTW, I thought this might bring me some good karma, but............
I worked out today that my inner passenger CV needs replacing and I have a nail in my rear tyre (I can fix this one with borrowed equipment from work, but I will have to get it refilled with nitrogen) and I dropped my smart phone today and I am left with half the screen black :(

I have engraved a plate today and stuck it to the fuel flap. I am hoping to present it tomorrow afternoon after work. 8)
I used a brass plate because I stuffed up the red plate, I haven't engraved anything for ages

Thanks :D
Yes by hand, with a hand engraver spinning a mini carbide burr @ 30,000 rpm, just like the drill a dentist uses.
