Im sure the pivot points do wear out, but if that was the case, it would be an issue with all gear changes, not just into second ;)

Can it be tested or visible wear and tear can be spotted before putting it in?

Btw, anyone know fabricator that can modify seat rails? I need to modify mine as my friend's missus will be giving birth soon and he is currently busy setting up his new house. I am pretty sure I need to move my monza seat a bit forward for the clutch as I am short.

It was an intermittent issue going into all gears. But I'm sure Pete can sort it all out. Next time I'm around (being today) ill ask him

Ahh yeah, Henry will do a good job.
Could also do some other stuff for you at the same time if you were interested, brakes, suspension, etc.
