I've managed a 15.232 at Santa Pod on the same day that Mark (EVO'd FTO) done his 13.686. It had been raining in the morning and the strip wasn't as sticky as it could of been so I believe a manual with a CAT should be low 15s. I have an induction kit and a CAT bypass pipe and with a good launch I would hope to get into the high 14s but I don't think I would get near the Freaks time (14.452s)

I have sent my slip in but it hasn't been added to the list

Glad I'm not the only one with that reaction to cat removal!

Hi Guys,

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but, has anybody know how fast a stock FTO would do the quarter mile , (as in Km’s per hour)

As I am keen to do this but worried that the speed limiter could kick in.

Or wont it get that fast?

I doubt that you will hit the speed limiter during 1/4 mile, which should be 180Km/h for all JDM vehicle.

Yeah, no fear on that score. You'll be deciding whether to change from 3rd to 4th as you near the finish... and redline in 3rd isn't up at 180km/h, that's for sure.

Cool Thanks guy's, should be doing a run on the 25th at heathcote, for my b'day.

Just didn't want to be wasting my time trying to get a good pass if the speed limiter was gonna kick in.

Cheers

Most of the terminal speeds for the FTO seem to be 92-94mph (148-151kph) which is close to the rev limiter in 3rd (manual).

GPX's are still a fair bit quicker in the 1/4 mile. This is considering both are stock.
