Re: i hurt my baby :'''''''''''(
Yokohama C drives kick ass in the wet. Saying that, I had a sketchy moment on a roundabout. Was soaking with rain and I pulled into the first part too hard and when I went to pull it back I lost all grip. I don't know if it was cause I straightened the wheels and dabbed the brakes or I hit a dry patch but I managed to escape some gutter rape. Hope all goes well with your repairs though kuran!

Hang on. Dont get too carried away just yet. Give us a breakdown of the costs. Youll probably find that a good proportion of that is parts and the mechanic has probably got the prices off someone that is charging an arm and a leg. If you can post up the breakdown, we can try and reduce that somewhat for you. I have some parts and I know stormhawk has quite a few as well.

I have 2 spare sets of driveshafts also. As Dwayne said, post up what you need in a new thread and somebody is bound to have something laying around.

You wanna make sure the guy's reliable.. ask him what's wrong and post it on here.
If he's not responding just tell him "I know you're busy, so if you could please tell me if you'll be looking at it by the end of tomorrow and giving me a response, otherwise I'll need to take it elsewhere to get this moving".
Shows him you're serious, things don't get done until you ask firmly with some people.

lol well i've kept on him about it and called him every day just to find out what progress he's made.
Things that are f&cked:
- bent control arm
- snapped rack end in half
- strut assembly
- cv joint
Things that he's fixed:
- bent control arm
He's waiting on the strut assembly and rack end to arrive.
It took him a bit to get started but he seems like a pretty top bloke, always friendly and things. And he's doing his best to source second hand parts to keep the cost down for me. He said I would be looking at around 600 bucks or so in total. Oh and he knows the difference between gpx and gr and that the parts aren't the same, which is always a good thing

Re: i hurt my baby :'''''''''''(
same thing happened to me mate.
I went round a roundabout in the wet fish tailed out and hit the gutter drivers side facing back into the roundabout (i did a u-turn around it) it had enough force to bounce me up the gutter. If i let go of the sterring it jerked full lock right thats how bad it was. Regardless i drove it 2 hours to get to the mechanic and the got a new one/bent it back idk which one but it is better now.
Also the kit that got damaged cost me 400 to get fixed painted and fitted. Regret that now though since the spray was wrong colour and is already cracking again....Hence why im getting the new bumer.
Sucks when sh*t like that happens i know. Never again will i
