If I run the car untill almost dry I can get aprox 720k's. Not that I ever do run it that low.

Drive your E10 till dry.hhakan wrote:I got 400ks using E10. I put shells v-power this time. Let's see how big the diffrence is going to be
Pump BP ultimate - 98
Reset ECU.
Finish a tank.
Pump another tank of BP 98.
Then only start to get the mileage reading for the fuel.

Re: fuel
Well, quite a few cases been reported on shell having inconsistencies on fuel quality as in 'bad batch' exists.
I remember aza got burnt by it. Engine pinging??
Besides, shell put ethanol to v-power to get the ron up to 98.
(It's like you pump 95 and then you mix them with octane booster.)
Some say the additives/ethanol is bad for fuel system components. (injector clogs, etc.)
While BP ultimate is pure ron 98 fuel.

Re: fuel
Serious? So you filled up with V-power and what did it go bang straight away, or did it feel a bit off for a while before blowing?aza013 wrote:no not Engine pinging, engine went bang big time. Only cost shell about $14000 to fix.
How did you manage to convince Shell it was there fault? I thought they would have done all they could to blame it on something else.

Re: fuel
It took about 15 mins after I filled the car, it started to bog down then just stopped.
All injectors blocked open.
I went down to talk to the servo manager and she told me that there fuel was fucked so there was nothing they could do.
