i dont think the car will die on you if you use e10 but premium is reccomended for the fto, it runs better is cleaner and gives better performance.

Short answer is the majority of us wouldnt.

Also you will get more km's out of premium so the savings are redundant.

That expensive sh*t will get you more km's than the tight ass fuel buddy. You'd need more tight ass fuel to get the same km's as you would with the expensive sh*t so...

FTO's and most imports are meant to have 100RON as that's what they regularly have in Japan and we have 98RON so even with that, the car is 2RONs short - No biggie but it does the job well still.

Though you would probably need a piggy back to run this as being 10% ethanol you would probably need to pump in a bit extra to maintain a safe AFR...

out of curiosity.. how many km's do you normally get out of a tank using 98??

i have a 95 tip gpx, and i only put 95 in it... pretty much cos 98 is just too pricey for me. but am interested to know the difference in distance you get out of the fuel

Wait, what ?!

I'm still a bit ignorant with the ethanol stuff and it's effects on the engine... But are you serious? And what is timing advance?

At the moment, maybe with an old fuel filter, full exhaust, full intake, I get about 450k's normally on BP 98.
