See that sounds like something I would need, wouldnt I. I mean how much of bitch would it be to loose my entire movie and music collection. I have nearly 400 movies and too many songs to count

Although, if the PSU blows / mains power surge, etc, and takes out the HDDs, RAID will not help. Backups to DVDrs are still better.
