I've just replaced all these bushes. The longer dog bone is just a stabliser bar with 2 solid bushes.
The shorter dog bone in question has a pivoting bush on the end that bolts to the chassis - this is where the rear
toe adjustment is done by the eliptical bolt assembly you have pictured. Mine we're absolutely rooted.
I bought replacement bushes from Mitsubishi (well through their parts outlet which was Lander Nissan) near Eastern Creek for $28 each, as
they are common to dezen of Mitsubishi models such as Lancers & Mirages etc.
Then punched them out on my vice with a socket.... which was somewhat time consuming. Ended up taking 1 of them up to my mechanics
sop I could use his press. Part number is 4113A062
But the hardest part of all is fitting them back on the car. Trying to wedge them back into the chassis was a nightmare & required much
big screw driver & lump hammer action.
