Because I work sat-Wednesday so I would just take off sat/sun and thurs/friday is my weekend so i'll just have a 4day weekend.

Yeah townsville is abit to far, how long is the trip to brisbane? Around 10hours?

Try 14 or 15 hours. Rockhampton is half way and it's 7 or 8 hours either way to Townsville or Brisbane. It's a around a 20 hour drive to Cairns

Im keen for a DIY weekend and some drinks. Might stay at a hotel though if the family comes along. Only want to do a few things to the car..change the oil and air filter and I want to install some HID's but need to find some first.
