The NAKAYA-TUNE FTO was a limited car in early ‘97 (still pre face-lift). 300 cars were sold. The car is tuned by Akihiko Nakaya, Driver of the TAEIVON FTO (below) in the Japanese GT300 series in ‘98-’99
The main differences are Nakaya-Tune Sports Muffler (Made by Prof), Nakaya-Tune Brake Pad (Made by AP), Nakaya-Tune Carbon Fibre Lip Spoiler, Nakaya-Tune Suspension, Nakaya-Tune Shock Absorber (Made by OHLINS),
see mine's a 96 model and doesn't have the lip spoiler

Yeah, these chassis number comparisons are right. I used to have a cut down version of dstocks' chart on this site prior to the great hack of 2003. It came from Mitsubishi Japan too.
HRFH says GP. The date Feb 96, is not the month they were made, but the month that production began on that particular model.

Ignore the build months. Those months state when production began on that model... Feb 96 is when they began making the GP. Prpoduction of the GP could well have gone all the way to 2000.
As for all the options, you'll have to quiz Dwayne on that, he manually put all those in according to C.A.P.S - and as we know via the chassis decoder (also powered by the C.A.P.S database) its not always acurate..
And also
