Uhh, wasn't Version R only a facelift model? Plus, it's only a 4-speed tip and Version R is 5-speed. And the dude didn't even mention GPX when he went through the model line-up. What an idiot.
Thats a bit of a mixture by the looks of things. The strut braces are Version R braces, as are the seats (although the red seats only came out in a black version R). If it has stock LSD, then its either version R or car of the year (yellow + respray) or LSD also came as an option. On the other hand, it is prefacelift. Version R didnt come out in prefacelift. not sure about the GP. Didnt think it did either. Maybe it as had a pre-facelift front put on. It should be 5 speed tip if its version R as well. The wing is the other anomoly. It doesnt have the version R wing on it. It has a GPX wing. My guess is it is a GPX with a couple of Version R bits added to it. Quite funny that they did the article on that. Proof of mis-advertising no matter which way you look at it.

OK, well there you go. Ive learnt something. Thatll be a GP though not a version R I think (Do you have an original version R badge on your car?) . The first batch of them were called a GP, not a GP Version R. You may well be able to correct me on this as well, but pretty certain the actual Version R label was released with the facelift.

didn't have any badges but I believe it was only GP. haven't checked to see whether or not they have a LSD either

jack the front of your car up and see if the wheels turn the same way.
i though the GP was the first of the facelifts?
what ?! is that it? so you mean to say, with LSD each front wheel wont spin independently but they are connected ? i thought lsd was for the rear wheels ?

well im still really in the bottom of the technical knowledge scene, anyway, so basically i'll jack it up, if i spin one of the front wheels, the other will spin with it like they're connected ?

I thought so at first but I'm pretty sure it's a GP
That car is basically identical to what I have as well as the one here: http://www.versionr.com/
right down to the exhaust as well
I doubt there would be like a few cars all identical in specs to make it a GPX espescially the manual fan controls too
