I swear I've heard of this problem happing before, have you searched Sugar? And from memory, the actual problem codes (42,43,44) were completely different from what the problem was!

What is the problem you're experiencing?

In my old box the synchro from 2nd to 3rd was stuffed and always ground when changing between at high revs, so I would've expected to get an error code of 42 and/or 43... but are you having different problems?

It usually means the input and the output signals from the sensors are not as expected. That is, you probably have a faulty sensor and I would guess at the input sensor.
