fly wheel type: aluminum or Forged Steel?
witch would be better? im looking at the aluminum fidanza fly wheel cos its lighter what do people think?

if chrome moly is like a stainless-steel solid cast then its iron + steel + chromium, way stronger than aluminium because of the iron but its heavier as ya say,... and more brittle because of the steel, so its less flexable (modulus of elesticity) before it snaps.
but ive only heard they snap on bs-high-torque drag engines lol...
best material i've found for car suspension and some other parts (used on high end porsches and the zonda's) is magnesium zk60a if you can put a good enough coating on it to make it flame-proof! ~33% lighter than alu, ~50% less flexable, just as hard, and just as strong, and just way too expensive.........

Low down torque is your call - if you dont mind constantly down shifting to get yourself up a hill, go for it. It'll rev out faster but you loose that low rpm pull.
