well i am a bit disapointed we didnt get the dyno run finished
had problems with the ignitor and some of the wiring, managed to fix that but the time wasted on that meant we couldnt do the runs to set the boost control. so hopefully will finish it tomorrow, when we can start getting the turbo up to its efficeny range.
still managed 258.5 Hp at the front wheels at 12 Lb boost so 350 Hp at the front wheels should be no problem at all once we get the boost controller working.
but it has a bit of torque steer when you put your foot down,

i was going to run it on the street at 14 lbs boost most of the time and store the 18lb boost program in the memory cartridge, but after driving it when it will only reach 12lb boost, i might reconsider the amount of boost i use for street driving, this thing is scary when the turbo kicks in and hits 12 lb boost, but we will be taking it up to 18 lb boost on the dyno and keeping the settings stored in the memory cartridge, The optimum operating efficency of the turbo is not reached untill you get to about 18Lb boost, i was only going to run low boost till i strengthened the drive line and did the internals on the engine.
hopefully will have a dyno chart in the photos on saturday

well done some more work on the dyno today but still couldnt get it above 12.1 Lb boost.
will have to change the spring in the external waste gate next week and get a boost control valve from wolf.
still there is some good news we played with the tuning and managed to get 332.8 Hp at the front wheels at 12.1 boost at about 5500 rpm. we took the motor to 6300 rpm which is still over 1000 below its red line and over 1600 Lb torque at 5000 Rpm.
so not bad, still might get to 400 hopefully when we get the boost sorted out.
will update it again next week and will post the graph and data with the photos once i scan them

well they are posted, the printer had a problem when printing out the dyno graph seems it ran out of black ink or just didnt print the black text, still this wont be the final dyno run, just thought i would let everyone know how it is going.
it is driving beautiful at the moment and the engine purs like a kitten and you can feel the extra torque,

sorry dont have a video cam
but will be getting my A70 canon camera back soon then will take some short clips of it i am sure it will be on and off the dyno a few times over the next few months till it is completely finished.
so i will take some of it doing a power run once we fix the boost controller

about the graph plot.
when the dyno run is being done the information was shown as a digital read out.
then the graph plot is printed from the saved information.
he uses the digital read out as there are several other things being watched at the same time.
Torque
Hp
RPM
Fuel air ratio
Boost pressure
Speed
so far over the two days of dyno work nearly 10 hours has been spent tuning it.
And it is still not finished, but it is running nice even though there is no real control over the boost, it is great fun once you start getting use to it, put your foot down and when the boost kicks in the tyres start spinning scares the sh*t out people when you are doing 100 down the freeway and the wheels lite up next to them
