Hello all, i'm looking to buy an FTO, i test drove my first one today i must say the car was verry nice but the drive was bad. the car felt very heavy like driving a truck and took a lot of effort (maybe the power stearing is gone?) is this how it's meant to feel?
please tell me it was a lemon and that this car is really a pleasure to drive...

Check the buy section in the forum, there are some nice cars for sale. What's your budget like?
heavy both in stearing and acceleration, just felt like a tonne o bricks, ive never felt anything like it, a stationwagon full of stuff feals better...
Sounds like a lemon but can't be 100%. Depends on model, transmission and condition as well so yeah. A nice fto is awesome to drive, contrary to what most would believe...and for a 10+ year old V6, they go pretty decent if that's what you're after (if you want a fastish one, get a manual with mivec preferably...fastest one out of the box).

3.5-4.0L v6's have around twice the torque of the 2.0L v6's... probably at lower rpms aswell.. so they'll feel more ready to go.... the fto is still faster though and more fuel efficient, and lighter, more nimble etc.
