if anodising doesnt work i could powdercoat them for a few bucks each..

Ok heres pics with mitsi logos.

I'll post pics of them fitted tomor.

and heres my changed design. I'm going to make the case cover the holder and add a seperate peice in the back of the case to hold the bulb holder. Also i'll make it larger to fill the recess on the car.

It'll look something like this.

Here is how it'll be fitted.

I'm pretty much ready to make these...i'm just waiting on some supplies that were meant to come in at the end of this week but now its looking more like the end of next week :(

As soon as they come i'll make each option and post pictures with prices and we'll go from there. Not too long now i hope.

I like :D

Edit: I'd pay more for such things if they were lockable in place from the inside somehow. Thieves have already stollen the side blinkers on my FTO when the previous owner had the car... they're just too easy to nick :( Replacing the current ones would cost more then yours do :( yours are nicely priced :)

yeah, lockable ones would be great but I would still be keen on a set of the 'F' ones depending on $$$.......are these for sale yet?? Havent seen anything like this over here in Auckland.....would definitely be something different.

I will be in Melb over Christmas if that helps with delivery......

Around $150 but i'll probably put different prices on ones with different options say higher with ones with F's and Mitsi logos and lower for plain lenses and hopefully offer different colours and finishes. I'll set a price and post pics of each different option after i've done the other stuff i have to do.
$AUS :)

ok. i almost have everything i need to make them now. just gotta set everything up. so i should have them for sale very soon :D I'll probably put a few sets on ebay to start with an then post up a thread with different options and prices.

I had hope to have these ready earlier but have been sick and really busy lately :( ...but i'm trying to get them done as soon as i can.

You raise a good point and i'll try to work out something to lock them in, although the set i made at the start was pretty hard to get in and out because there is nowhere to grip and twist them. And if i make them large enough in diameter to fill the recess, that should stop people trying to pry them out...but yeah it is a problem that i don't think can be totally avoided. even if they are locked in, then people will try to crow bar them out and wreck your car doing it. Anyway i think they would be the same as chrome badges on other cars and if you park ya car in a decent spot it shouldn't be too much of a problem :?

Possibly I guess... if they get away with them I have a nearly $300 of blinkers to replace... or alternatively possibly a couple hundred dollars of damage... but at least in that instance I'd have the satisfaction of knowing the @#$#ers failed.

Somehow connecting them to an alarm system might work I guess... with a megaphone shouting "zee blinkers, thay areee mineeee fs#$er" or something.

Truely though, any anti-theftness would increase my interest if possible. Would love to sus them out sometime on your car as its pretty much the same colour :)
