Head Unit Mounting Brackets

The previous owner of my car seemed to attack these two parts with a drill to get it the way he wanted it, no idea why, it seems it would have worked better if he hadn't!!! Really dodgy job of it sadly.

Anyway there's 2 of steel plates that mount your Head Unit (HU) into the dash of the FTO. They've got a big plate with screw holes (I assume for both single and double din HU's) and a ... er... bugger it I'll whip up a quick picture (top view) and you should get an idea.

See the L shaped bits (below) of black?

I'm after those if I can get some.

I'd have taken a photo of them but they're in the car after a LOT of effort and dodgying... and if I take them out, there's no way in hell I'm putting them back in... way too much effort.

Anyway if no ones got some kicking about collecting dust I guess I'll trundle around some wreckers over the xmas break.

Was my head unit supposed to come with those??? I only seemed to get a cage? and two other bits of steel that i had to bold on to get the face plate to clip on. Fracking JB demo unit FTL.
