white smoke coming out of the engine :S

Post by Hobbsie »

just now on my way home from work as i got home i noticed a bit of white smoke coming out from under the bonnet, so i popped it and noticed a fair amount of what appeared to be oil dripping out of the part where the intake joins the throttle gate and producing white smoke. car felt the same as normal on the drive home and the engine temp was normal the whole time. Oil level is fine. i also noticed a little white smoke once 2 weeks ago. any clue whats wrong?

well today i noticed a long stream of coolant going down the driveway, so i figured it was time i have a look hehe..

problem ended up being the hoses that carry the coolant in/out the throttle body were fucked so i replaced those and the heater hoses too i think as they looked like they were on the way out. problem solved.

and here i was thinking my engine was goone :?
