Car problems :(

Post by kem »

My car experienced problems a few months ago where it would just conk out when stationary or in reverse and wouldn't start unless i reved it on 1000 rpm for a minute or so i took it to a mechanic and they said the battery needed charging and then charged me $100 and didn't believe me when i said thats not the issue. So about a week when it just wouldn't start at all, i took it to another mechanix who tried to figure out what the problem was for 2 and a half weeks and after a lot of testing and failing; determined that the problem was the ecu and apparently this is a none issue for ftos so i had it replaced everything was ok for about a month but it still occasionally doesn't start first go. Just wondering if anyone out there would actually know what the problem is? Its so frustrating! i don't want my car to die again and i don't want to be messed around by a mechanic again...

Check your error codes

Alternatively take it to a Mitsubishi service centre & get them to plug it into the Matrix
