front bar and side skirts, help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by vannil »

:D :D hi everybody it's vannil.

i cant believe how much of a liffesaver this club is. any who, i just got money to buy a new front bar and side skirts. i really like the vileside side skirts so im gonna buy them. but i cant choose between the veil side front bar and the cm4 on carmate

http://www.carmate.com/product_details. ... &p_id=5940

also do i need to buy the indicators if i get the cm4 or can i just use the one on my fto now, stock.

also i heard a lot of bad things about carmate, are they really bad and does the stuff not fit if so, i guess get them from like unique autosports then. also are the bodykits easy to put on yourself, thanks heaps

UAS one are from Carmate, so is 90% of the FTO Veilside kits you will find in Aus.

Is a copy, so don't expect a perfect fit. If you want a perfect fit, you will need $6000-7000 for the original.

personally i would go DC front bar or something.. veilside type stuff a bit too over the top for me but theres plenty of ppl who like it i guess.

http://www.completefto.com.au/fto_showcontent.asp theres a bunch of different kits and info on this site.

as for fitting.. theoretically bodykit isnt that hard to put on urself, except most AFM kits wont fit straight on perfectly so its best to get a professional to do it.. and you'll need to get it resprayed anyway unless u can paint so yea better to pay for a pro to do it if your inexperienced.. you dont want to f**k your kit before its even on the car!

i have a mate whos my next door neighbour who sprayed his hot rod and it looked perfect and he said he will spray it for me as long as i buy the paint so the painting of the kit isnt a problem, do u know how much it would cost to get it professionally fitted
