Where abouts are you located?

Can't believe no one knows the answer. And to be honest neither do I.

However, I think maybe not? As a friend did a auto to manual conversion on his FTO, but you may just need to source more parts? Though you should have everything since your car is manual

Yep,

Bucket did a manual conversion and had to source a few bits, but those related to the gearbox. Auto FTO engine should be fine.

Just out of curiosity, what exactly do you have to do to mate a gearbox with the engine?
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Aligning the spindles on the main shaft to the clutch is always fun without the right tools!
