WHAT A GAME!

Post by d_stroy_r »

I just had to say that was one of the best games (West Coast VS Geelong).

54 points down in 4rd quarter and to win is just AWESOME!

I actually stopped watching after the 1st quarter, due to my anger. Started watching again and then West coast just steam rolled Geelong!

AFL = *~delightful!~* in a big way.If i wanted to watch a bunch of retarts fumble with a ball,i'd head to the local childcare centre.

ouch! all your going to do is start arguments by posting comments like that.... probably not a constructive comment reallly. kind of humourous that you spelt retards incorrectly too..

massive win destroyed - but even bigger issues for the poor pussies..

well thats what happens when you have guys trying to nail you into the turf and you use an oval ball......

at least when the aussie rules guys get knocked over they dont lie on the ground for 5 minutes kicking and screaming.

Well to be honest I'm not a big fan of footy, but what if I said to you let's say... Soccer isn't a sport, It's just a bunch of retards running around trying to get the ball, then kicking it away - repeat times 100 and you have a soccer game.

I don't mean that about soccer, but just imagine how you would feel if someone said that and meant it.

Gotta have respect for people's choices, just cos you don't like it, doesn't mean nobody else should.

Euro and anyone else that critisises soccer (FOOTBALL AKA), you are a losers and don't know what you are talking about.

What is the favourite sport in the world? DEFFINATELY RUGBY!

More Aussies play soccer than any other sport.

I don't you guys can make a proper arguement.

Who's arguing? I thought it was tradition to always argue when you're talking about sport? You do have a very valid point thought Ben.

Just to add more flame to the fire.......it takes 3 things to play soccer:finesse, class and quite a bit of skill. Footy only takes 3 braincells!

Arguements only make people more stubborn.

If somebody thinks soccer is crap/rugby is crap, well that's their opinion, getting abusive about it will only make it much worse and bounce back and forth till the thread is closed.

Ignore it and we're all over and done with

e-fights lol

sad how people get agro over net / games. like 3 weeks ago, my friend's younger bro was at galaxy world playing games, we were having a smoke outside waiting for him, he beat some guy in Tekken, and the guy who lost thought he was a mad k**t with his gangster wannabe friends, and tried to start my friend's bro, and got done hard :P

all over a game

Mate, I think soccer is a great game, but this post was made about an AFL Game to which someome said afl players are unco-ordinated...
I was not critising soccer as a game, but even the biggest fans get sick of certain players who fake (way over the top) for free kicks..... Thats a critism of players not the game.

Im not trying to say which game is better, was purely remarking on a comment from a forum member who said that afl was *~delightful!~* - I think i am within my right to argue against this - and no, that doesnt make me a loser.

im not quite sure where your rugby comment fits in either

oh, and because people asked to flame the fire lol...

if we went purely on 'popularity' to decide everything, then that would make bands like the backstreet boys one of the best groups of all time.... so lets not use that argument to decide the best of something.

and finally lol, people that use the arguement you dont need brain cells to play footy.... you dont need many brain cells to play any sport!
skill & finesse do not require brain cells.... many athletes are not 'socially or educationally' intelligent but they are smart at the sport they play and that goes across many sporting codes.
