Where would be the best place in Canberra to get an FTO serviced, and also have some mechanical work done i.e. tappets, oil leak fixed.
Is there any way to fix the rubbing of the front tires on the inside of the wheel arch when you turn I would say it to be near all the way into lock and in lock?

That'll be the size and width of your rims.

As to mechanics, I generally get mine done at Total Traction in Belconnen. Have also heard that the guy that works out of the EVO motorsport workshop (Ben I think) is very good with FTO's)

    How would you go about stopping the wheels rubbing? Would you need to go down a size in rims, or perhaps raise the car slightly?

    Depends where they are rubbing... most FTO's with big wheels rub on the inside of the arches. Things like spacers & anti lift bushes can help.

    Ben at Intune Automotive does what work I need on the FTO.

    He did the manual swap for my car and worked overtime at no extra charge to get me my car back ASAP. The man is a champion and has not let anyone I know down.

    He is however, extremely busy so book ahead.

    Any sugestions for tires and new sspension and where I should go to get them done?

    If you are after wheels/tyres i'd say Ozzy. And just tyres, prob still Ozzy. :D

    As for suspension i've heard good things of Revell Steering and Suspenion in Fyshwick (Isa St).

    Suspension:
    Chris @ Inline Steering and Suspension, located in Queanbeyan
    Worth the drive/trouble even if you live in Belconnen. Trust me.

    Servicing/Work:
    Jakes Performance in Mitchell,
    Not a bad bloke, has done heaps of work on FTO's

    Tyres:
    Doesn't really mater that much at all, they are all the same, just do research as to what tyre you want, and find the cheapest. um..
