i was driving my mates to the pub 2 mins up the road last night and it was extreamly windy in melb...

then a huge f**in branch fell right in front of my car ahead of me...

it was all too late coz i hit it and cracked my front bumper, head light broke my grill and my neons .....bonet is scratched up too....

i have all tyhe luck in the world.......i was madddddd :evil:

ive been in a state of depression all day :cry:

thats just plain bad luck and very sorry to hear it.. I can just imagine how it would feel if it happened to me, and I'm sure you love your car just as much :cry:

Depending on the amount of damage in relation to any applicable excess', it sounds to me like you were hit by an ininsured driver who fled the scene :P

*puts more serious face on*

That's really terrible to hear mate, especially something like that which is unavoidable.

Hope she gets patched up soon.

I hate that when things like that happen, that why I'm scared to park my car under a tree or even out in the street...Hope your car gets fixed soon.

you want a BOZZ front bar! hehe I'm never gonna fit mine! hehehe one day it will be done and it will be awsome...

u need some cool body kits addtions now Mell...talk tot he repair guy they will help u...I just been chatting to mine all week you is letting me choose my front bar etc...I have got a wicked one for my R33. u can do the same....at no additional cost!

Perhaps if the damage is bad enough look into talking to the city council??

I feel your pain.............someone sideswiped my car this week and didn't leave a note.

Hope everything works out for you though............your car is HOT! 8)

yeah was thinking all of the above..........

would be good to put a new front end on... :twisted:

though also noticed theres a crack in the front head light....
spoke to council and they told me to write a letter and get some quotes...so i dont no what the outcome will be.


:( :( :( mind u im still depressed

though does the council have to pay for the damage???

If the tree was on council property then yes they are liable. Unless they spring that "Act of God" crap on you.

But yes it would be a good opportunity for you to get a new front end. And coz you had the back repaired recently, the paint would look like new all round...... :wink:

lol......its kinda sad that thre only part on the car that hasnt been resprayed is the driver door
