Idle Control Motor (IAC motor)

Post by bruiser »

Hi All, I have a fto gr. & the iac motor is stuffed, between me and the mechanic we have tried all the tips ie. reset ECU. cleaned motor inside & out, checked stepper calibrations checked wires & connections etc. So the car is sitting at the mechanics & I need a new IAC. quickly.(do not want to risk a used one, as I plan to keep the car a long time). Will try Just Jap in the morning and hope I do not have to wait weeks for them to get it in. Does anyone out there know who else I can try that might have them in stock. Thanks Everyone.

Try Northshore Mitsubishi (02) 9436 0776. I have a feeling its a common part to a Galant or Magna

Thanks for your reply Bennoz, Just Jap are sending me a new iac delivered to the Blue Mountains this afternoon or tomorrow morning at latest for $285. I saw 4 iac's on ebay for U.S. $157. not including deliverery, so hope I am not paying too much because I have been in such a hurry.
