yeah i got an a1000, dont really like it thought, a bit too big, and i have dropped it a few times so i dont get reception at my house any more :(
and if you stay in an area with no reception for a few hours it goes flat for some strange reason.

i had the previous spec of that phone and the reason the battery goes flat when there is no reception is becos its constantly searching for reception and therefore drains the battery.
