Favourite Top Gear Episodes

Post by mrx »

Assuming that we all have seen Top Gear here. For those that haven't - start downloading them now!!!

Anyway - what is your favourite episodes / segments???

I love the car challenges - 100 quid cars, 1500 pound porsches, 1500 pound sports coupes that aren't porsches, 10 grand supercars...

Luv em!

As for "proper" car reviews - the Lotus Exige was really cool with the navy helicopter chasing Jeremy around. Oh, and the Porsche GT. That is possibly the best sounding car ever - and I love it when Jeremy looks at the car "from a German point of view".

"I am speaking to you now from inside one of the venturi tunnels".
"There you go. The brake weighs less than 3 bags of sugar"

Has anyone got a copy of when they test drove the FTO?

I really enjoyed when they pitted the Jaguar XJ220 against something newer but can't remember what that car was.....

The XJ220 absolutely smoked it on the take off! The other car was similar with higher bhp.

Ford GT. Clarkson was enjoying himself so much he ran out of petrol on the track... and still wouldn't get out of the car.

The one where he took his own ferrari out, & drive like a chicken. Never seen him drive so slow, & so carefull

The other fav would be Ferrari 550 vs Lambo Muchy vs Aston DB9, is the comment he made on that episode is the funniest.

Top Gear has been around since the early 90's.

My fave is the Lambo Murceilago vs the Pagani Zonda. 8)

Don't want to be picky or anything, but it was his Mercedes, AMG SL55 I think.
