hey guys i think i might purchase these leatherette seat thing..but i have a hole in the sponge part of my seat (driver) near the hips where it curves.. does anyone know how to fix these holes? should i attempt my self or get a proffesional? :roll:

Well there's a free way, and a fee way.........

a) Get a professional to replace the whole cushion on the seat which they WILL most likely persuade you to do.

(Mind you if your cushion isn't that good anymore then get it replaced if you like)

b) Find an old couch or a big chunk of foam, cut it with scissors to the right shape, add an extra layer if you're using really soft foam to make it a bit tougher, and just use superglue to glue it in the missing spot.

Even if you don't fix the cushion you probably won't feel the hole anyway coz when I installed my seat covers, man you gotta pull em tight!

I'm thinking that superglue will not be too friendly to foam, maybe.

superglue should be fine, but i used ados glue, worked a treat, even smeared it on the fibreglass tape to set it in place, cant notice anything feeling the seat today
