Adelaide - Cruise - Saturday 4th February - 10:00am

Post by Sparhawk »

Ok, my feet are getting itchy, and I really want to meet some club members. Any news on the next meet ?

How about a cruise up to the barossa for a day ? There are some great places up there to eat (and drink for the non drivers lol) and some nice scenery for a backdrop to a group fto pic ????

Anyone ?

Well, I have got nothing on this weekend.

Personally find the barossa a little over-rated, and dont see the big deal about the roads, but I'm easy.

There is an awesome little piece of road reading down from Mt Osmond towards the City - only a fe km's but would be great for some video....

Anyhow, see what happens.

Hey, I'm not fussed. I'm just trying to spark some life into the local FTO scene. Im good this weekend also... Lets do something. I guess it depends on what type of thing you want. Casual day out, with a photo opportunity, or a bit of fun driving through the hills... I like either. Or we could meet somewhere and just see where the road takes us. Depends how many ppl are interested too...

Oh, and I'm from the barossa originally, so I've seen it all. Was just getting the ball rolling :)

Also need a clean. Badly, as Ben can attest - yep, still not cleaned from then!!!

Oh well - any excuse.

Saturday it is. "Normal" meet up point. Say, 10:00ish?

Can decide where to go from there. I vote for Victor via Strathalbyn - then up via the beaches or something.

But, I am open for suggestion.

Hey Jamie. Hows your EVO treating you? All that you expected?

Have not been active on the MEGC side of things for a while - been really busy! Also, I play cricket on Wednesday nights now - so that rules out the meetings!

I see, so if it was just me, it would be ok, but since there are a few ppl turning up you have to wash the car... like that hey LOL

Well, Thanks for a great day. The drive to Victor definately is a fun one, and to be in the presence of some nice cars (and ppl) makes it so much better :)

Here are some of my snapshots :)

Of course I had to resize them all. The originals look much better.
How did your video footage turn out Shaun ? Would LOVE to get my hands on it to have a look.

Thanx again for a great day.

Ill start looking into something for March up in the Barossa :D
