japan parts

Post by EURO »

Ok, some of you might have seen an add on ebay advertising project F tail lights... it was within another add..

I contacted this guy and he reckons he can get a lot of parts from Japan.
( he could not get those lights for some reason anymore).

He gave me this link and email.... could be worth following up for some people, theres pages of good bits in there.

" link try this link - yes it in Japanese, but the pictures are in universal...

Just copy and past the link into an email and give me a couple of days lead time and I cna get them.

Well you be lucky if you can find one in there, i've seen 1 damaged pair in 6mths & you have to try to out bid some of the crazy ppl too. The last one i saw was around $550-$600 landed in Oz, & thats damaged.

www.perfectrun.com.au

They list their prices in Yen so you'll need to use www.xe.com to convert the currency. Delivery doesn't take very long.

Does that mean they take the old one off you and rework it? Or do they take the old one and give you a new one altogether?

They rework the old one. Its one of the best about apparently, they shorten the left-right throw as well as the up-down (most are up-down only)

Well you haven't include storage fee, shipment to australia, Japan local freight fee, & if you going through an agent, you will have to pay a small commission too, And if you unlucky, you be hit by the custom too.

From memory the Cusco 4 point roll cage work out to be around $800-900 dollars.
