Can someone tell me what this is?

I have sorta worked out I need this to unlock some games cheats etc...

but how do i get it, what does it do etc? etc?

it runs off a disc and a memory card... u put both in yor ps2 first... select which cheats u want to use (or type your own) and it saves it to the memory card.... then u start your game normally and it automatically puts the cheats in for u...

ie GT4 all gold licences, 9999999999999 credit all races unlocked etc etc

the codes aka "game shark" and consist of numbers... ie

[99 lives] 00303 0685784 0040

i have one. donno about this max business though, i think it's new. i got mine soon after the ps2 launched cause i couldn't be fucked finishing timesplitters properly. it was great for grand turismo 3, after i got bored of grinding my way through i whacked in the cheats and fully sicked up a viper :D yeah i have a soft spot for those sexy dodges. i think that's why i like the fto, theres a fair bit of similiarity in the styling.

yeh me trying to download off the internet now hehe. although i found a version for $24 which may be just as easy to buy.

so i found the program.....

but i keep entering codes under the GT3 and everytime i do it says wrong game???
