Whine

Post by Jase »

My baby has developed a bit of a whine in the last day or two, being a bitch i guess it had to happen eventually! So what do you guys reckon, bearings, belt? hopefully not timing belt. It's noticable at just over idle with or without the air con on.

Any ideas?

do the basics first, change your belts. If you already have, check the tension.

All the time. Most notciable from 1500 up. Almost sounds like a falcon auto or a noisy power steering pump. Haven't had a good look or listen yet.
