alarm to central locking

Post by Raven »

There is an alarm and imobilizer set up in my car, the remote however does not work with the central locking.

There are 2 single wires that come from the alarm that have tags reading "lock" and "unlock". i know these have to be conected to the central locking for it to work but cant work out where.

i know where the 8 pin central locking unit is but unsure where on that i splice the wires to or if at alll there.

any help would be greatly appreciated thanks,

Raven, Just to confirm that you are saying the central locking is not even wired, is this correct?
Or, it has wired but not working; eg; door handle is slightly moving but not locking/unlocking

the central locking is not wired to the alarm. they both are there just that the alarm remote wont lock or unlock the car.

i just found a circut diagram that shows me i have to connect the 2 wires from the alarm to 2 relays in the central locking system, i just have to find where these relays are now :(
