Price paid for 97 GR-pls post

Post by Timnkoo »

Hi, just though I would get some opinions from the FTO "experts". I have recently (4 months) ago purchased a midnight purple/blue 97 FTO GR (facelift) from a private seller for $14990. It is a stock model GR with 88, 000 kms on the clock.

Sorry forgot to update the final choice which was- No, I got ripped- so if you think i got ripped please reply to this post, thanks guys

Its all depends on the condition of the FTO & how well did the last owner look after it, i've seen some shocking FTO sell for dirt cheap & some are way over price as well.

So is hard to say without a detail look of it.

Yes I understand, well i can say this- I cannot find a single thing wrong with the external body OR interior, all flawless, I looked at 5 other FTO's and this was by far the nicest, most well kept I saw. As for the engine- everything "seemed" smooth enough- I previous Aus young single girl owner- she produced a log book of servicing with minors done between 5-8000k's since she got imported in 2000. Aside form that I'm not sure what else I can add to give a better idea of the condition.
thanks

With the km's on it and the condition you think it's in, I'd say that yes you got a decent deal.
