Leaking water pump
my water pump is leaking but heres the wierd part, some days it doesnt leak and others it leaks all day while im at work. does anyone else have this problem? and can anyone recommend a mechanic in brisbane to replace the water pump?

Well if its leaking from the timing belt end, it probably is. There are no hoses attached to the pump, it feeds water directly in & out of the block.
If you sure it is the pump, the cheapest place to get one is kempys www.kempys.co.nz - send and email to them, aftermarket ones are down to about $80 bucks.
As for a mechanic, Im sure some of the QWLD guys can help you out. Being a Sydney sider I dont know.

yeah ive got the new pump sitting at home its leaking near the timing belt but my rattle gun thingy wasnt powerful enough to undo some of the bolts so i could get to the pump.
ive been qouted 150-200$ for the installation plus checking the entire cooling system plus flushing it all out by a work mates mechanic
