Humorous description for an FTO for sale...

Post by testlabmonkey »

Thought this was an extremely funny way to sell a car... my apologies if this is one of the members cars for sale but i somehow doubt it.

http://www.carsales.com.au/please/carsales ... istance=25

Read the long description.

Love the way the half completed sports steering wheel deserves two photos just to show you exactly what parts are missing. :?

i count 8.

1= mx5 model?
2=1989 model?
3=red colour? (yet he mentioned the number plate and it is that car apparently)
4=5sp Man? the pic seems to be a tip.
5=rego? doubtful. if the rego says a red mx5 5sp man lol
6=roadworthy? if it really is a (modified) mx5 5sp man.... then no chance lol
7= it is totally wrong anyone with so little knowledge of the car be able to own one. lucky he knew it was a mitsubishi fto... total fluke i think.
8=that i wasted my good time looking and commenting on that pathetic sale. sheesh.

1) the car is RED?
2) damn thats a weel kept vehicle if its a 1989 model
3) i've seen ppl putting material around the baseof their auto gear knob to make it look like a manual . BUT how do u make a manual knob look like an auto?
~plus on the dash it shows the auto drive sequence and 4 tiptronic gears
and he claims its a 5 speed manual
4) MX5 series?

so how did i do in the eye spy game?

ehehehe the GPX sticker at the back is not original, so it could be a GR.

doesnt an aftermarket GPX sticker qualify as a GPX conversion :P. Oh no wait you need to get the word MIVEC inscribed on the engine somewhere. what was i thinking.

There were actually 3 mistakes so you all failed
1) one of the wheel nuts are missing
2) the wrong transmission fluid was used
3) the labotomy performed on the owner was clearly performed by an amature

OK heres what the finished product should have looked like :-P. This second add appeared a week or so after the other. by the way both cars are still for sale :P.
