Ariel Atom - Beyond Tomorrow

Post by rnbboi »

omg omg omg omg

anybody watch beyond tomorrow (26/10/05)?

a car that can accelerate from 0-100 in 2.9 sec, for the price of $46k?

I WANT ONE! \

ok ok, it doesnt have all those luxuries and traction control, etc etc, but hell, weighing in only 1/3 of a normal car... making it the fastest car on acceleration - beating Porches and Ferrari Enzo's on take off. What more do u want?

what got me was that it uses the VTEC YO!!!!! engine from Honda Civics.

and guess what? They're exporting it all around the world from Britain :P

Yep I watch it, isn't this the car James (supplanter) like, from memory it can't be legal road here as they try before, & with our stupid rules I doubt it will ever make it to the road.

During the show they stated that this car should be street legal in Aus by late 2006.

Nice looking toy though.
Makes me feel to strip every bid of unneccesary piece of the car to increase the weight/power ratio.

Thats a real shame.

Wellz, I hope that it'll become legal one day.

It'll be a great toy to have, a real bang for bucks :D

A car that costs 10x less and outperforming a Ferrari...

46k is a real bargain

The K1 Attack is what I want:

I doubt either of them pass the Australian Design Rules (ADR) so we won't be seeing them here any time soon... except on the racetrack
