gpx or Gr
guys this is just a dumb question but how do u differentiate between gpx and gr coz i know some people just put the sticker mivec on the engine so that it look like a gpx

GPX/GR
Only the GPX/GPvR has variable Cam Timing. You can feel the cam kick in at about 5000RPM on the GPX. The GR wont do that.
I havent had a close look at a GR so wouldnt be able to tell you the difference visually. I know the mivec cover is one difference, but if was put on a GR, I couldnt tell you.

The oil filler cap is on the left of a mivec engine and on the right of the low powered
gr.
Also the red line is at 8000 rpm on the gpx and less (7500 iirc) on the gr.The gr will also have a maf sensor after the airbox,the gpx doesn't.....it has a map sensor bolted to the engine bay bulkhead
Gpxs have bigger brakes too,although i don't think you'd notice that unless they were side by side
