Replacing the Grill

Replaced the Grill some time back with some stainless steel mesh. Decided to do the same today with the lower ducting (see below).

I made the mistake of actually taking the existing mesh out & having it chrome plated.... put it back on only to find that with it now chrome, it accentuated all the dents in it.... now I have a shiny dented grill

This is just aftermarket stuff. Goto Autobarn and pick up a 1.2m x 20cm sheet for $30 in the colour of your choice (they had blue,black,chrome,red). Really easy to fit - just follow the guide above.

I have a few pieces of pre-cut stainless steel mesh laying in my garage from when I fitted mine. There are photos of it on my car somewhere on the forum. PM me if anyone is interested.

Couldnt quite match mine. The place I got the bit for the main grill from stopped stocking the mesh (with the same size holes) before I picked up the bit for the bottom. Had to source elsewhere, hence the slight mismatch. Might have to get another bit sometime so they match.

Still, I think it looks better than nothing....
