Copying threads???

Post by rxboy »

Short of cutting and pasting bits from threads into Word/Notepad, is there any other way of keeping a particular thread that you may be interested in for future referral?

Click on 'Watch This Topic For Replies' on the bottom left corner and it will send you an email to notify you whenever a reply is posted on the selected thread.

either that or just search on the topic at a later date and it will be there for you plus potentially other information you missed.

Any really good stuff we put into permanent archives in the "FTO Information" part of the website

Sorry guys, you must have misunderstood. I meant some sort of a file on my computer that I can view whenever I want without having to dial up to the net and search the forum. I've tried to "save" a particular thread as a complete html page, but that saves everything including all the avatars and stuff.

By the way, the "search" function doesn't work anyways. It just gives me an error when I click it.
