Linking to the site

Post by pagan »

Ok now, i play in band currently working on our release demo, and we have just put our website up. i have a link to FTOAustralia on the links page, more will be up when the other guys start putting their links in. is this ok, or take it off?

anyone who wishes to check the site out, please do...

http://www.geocities.com/elysiumsshadow/

All art work on the site is done by Jade, it looks sweet...we have video and music samples, a short comic strip in the pics page and biographies of band and members. who knowns you may enjoy something a little different then your used to. Dark Fantasy Metal! but dont judge it till you've heard it... only then can you fire at will i guess LOL

but basically, can i link to the site or are there rules of some type.

cheers[/url]

10% of all album and merchandise sales donated to the club sounds fair to me :D

j/k

Maybe this should be more of a gibberish type of thread though.

Those demos are awesome - I particularly like The Warlord Cometh - I hope the demo gets picked up and released - I'll be the first customer!

Great stuff!

thanks guys, we are fighting the world on this one, for this style of music is unheard of in australia. Europeans have embraced this music years ago, its in their top 40 constantly... so its real nice to hear you like it, since it will be totally new to many

thanks again, and send anyone you think might be interested our way. epecially if they are a drummer, guitarist or singe... male OR female...

We are starting to see bits of it out here. Nightwish recently did a tour - I really like their stuff... Plus their female singer Tarja is hot!

Heaps of good stuff on www.metalstorm.ee
Its a Euro site & they all go mad for fantasy stuff - good forum too

I have downloaded them but haven't had a chance to listen to them yet

It might be a good idea to convert them to mp3 format and put them on http://www.mp3.com.au

Have you thought about getting a demo to 3RRR, 3PBS or even JJJ?

I think JJJ is definately the go there.. A guy I went to school with plays bass and is the manager of Hefier - very heavy alternative punk band, they have had their stuff played on JJJ.

well for all you people interested we may have found a vocalist, a young lass of 22, who sang with the Sacred Heart Cathedral Chior. and is totally capable of singing like Tarja from night wish hehehe we are over the moon, coz that type voice willing to do this music is very rare. but she contacted us and is "awestruck" her words, by the sound. its new to her but she is already sampling other bands of similer vain to learn more... she is very eager

stay tuned :D
